Dr. Mariana Rocha
Assistant lecturer
Mariana Rocha is an assistant lecturer in the School of Computer Science. She joined TU Dublin as a PhD student, when she developed and evaluated the potential of digital games to support mathematics learning. Her research focuses on providing technological solutions to challenges in education. Her main research interests are educational videogames, adaptive learning and assistive technology.
Mariana is currently one of the chairs of the Junior Network Researchers in Serious Games, a project developed in collaboration with the Åbo Akademi Universit (Finland) to support PhD students and post-doc researchers working with serious games.
